Our wedding will take place on September 6, 2025, at Winter Wood Farm in Sparta, NC. The ceremony will begin at [Ceremony Start Time]. Please plan to arrive a little early to find parking and be seated.
Our dress code is formal/black-tie optional. We’d love for our guests to wear long, formal dresses or suits with jackets and ties. Tuxedos are not required. The ceremony and reception spaces have concrete floors, but during cocktail hour, there will be yard games on the grass, so please choose footwear accordingly!
The ceremony will be held outdoors with beautiful views of the mountains. Our cocktail hour will take place in a covered outdoor space, and the reception will primarily be indoors, with access to the cocktail hour space as well. In the event of rain, we’ll move the ceremony indoors to keep everyone comfortable.
The RSVP section of our website is not set up yet, as we’re still finalizing some details. We’ll let you know when it’s ready, closer to the wedding date, and at that time, we’ll make it easy for you to RSVP right here on the site.
There is no shuttle service to the venue. Please plan to drive or carpool. If you’re flying in, we recommend renting a car or carpooling, as Winter Wood Farm is about a 2-hour drive from Charlotte. GPS may not be reliable for finding the venue. For the best route, please refer to the specific directions listed on the Accommodations & Travel page.

Early September in Sparta can be warm during the day, but cooler in the evenings. We recommend bringing a layer for the evening just in case. Keep an eye on the forecast as the date approaches.
Yes, Winter Wood Farm has on-site parking in a grassy area on a hill, with a gravel driveway leading back to the building. For guests who may find it challenging to walk up or down the hill, there will be a drop-off point directly in front of the building before parking in the grass. Signs will be in place to guide you.
Your presence is a gift in itself! However, if you’d like to give something more, please visit our Registry page for more details on where we’re registered.
Yes, we’re having an unplugged ceremony. We kindly ask that you keep your phones put away during the ceremony so we can enjoy this special moment together without distractions. We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture everything! You’re more than welcome to take photos and videos during the rest of the celebration, and we’d love for you to share them with us afterward.
We’re so happy you want to share in our celebration! We just ask that you hold off on posting anything to social media until after we’ve shared our own photos. It means a lot to us to have the honor of being the first to share our wedding day with the world.
The website is currently under construction, and we’ll continue to update it as we finalize more details. Please check back closer to the date for additional information, including the RSVP link, schedule, and any last-minute changes.
We’ll provide a specific point of contact closer to the date. For now, feel free to reach out to either side of the family with any questions, and they’ll make sure you’re all set!
